Sarasota Promotion … Scott Parrish, P.E. has been promoted to Branch Manager of our Sarasota office. Scott, a 2003 graduate (B.S., Civil Engineering) of Tri-State University in Indiana, has been with Dunkelberger for 6 ½ years. See full press release at right.
Go for Stimulus Funds … Craig Dunkelberger, P.E. and Brandi Pilling (PSL) recently attended the FDOT District Six “EEO/DBE/Wages & Title VI Training” at the Miami South Dade Facility. Conducted by the Central Compliance Unit, the purpose of the information session was to provide the necessary tools and requirements to effectively comply with the American Recovery and Reimbursement Act (ARRA). Commonly referred to as “the Stimulus”, ARRA is the economic package enacted by Congress in February 2009 including infrastructure investment opportunities as part of the stimulus plan.
Good Golf Times … Invited guests Wayne Vert, Architect with TRO Jung Brannen (pictured in middle below), and Karl Hees, P.E., Structural Engineer with Hees & Associates, enjoyed a round of golf with our own Scott Parrish, P.E. (pictured at left) and Doug Dunkelberger, P.E. (pictured at right) (SARA) in the ASCE Golf Tournament in North Port. Mr. Hees (not shown) was the photographer.
Let’s Keep PSL Beautiful … Volunteers from the PSL staff joined many other community activists for the annual Keep Port St. Lucie (PSL) Beautiful cleanup on Saturday, April 17th. Once the hard work was completed the fun really began including lots of free food, T-shirts, raffles and prizes! Thanks to all for helping our environment and representing Dunkelberger for such a great cause.
