What is DE&T University?

In today's dynamic business environment, effective leadership is a key component of the success of Dunkelberger. A commitment to continuous learning is key to developing a strong, professional staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet client demands and enhance career goals of each employee; therefore, Dunkelberger felt the need to create a corporate, professional development initiative, the Leadership Training Program.

The Leadership Training Program is more than a one-shot training program, it is a year-long experience of opportunities to challenge oneself, develop one's talents and skills, and interact socially and professionally with employees from other offices and departments. The opportunity to participate is voluntary and available to all employees across all service lines. Programming is interactive, requiring one's involvement, teamwork, and a community service commitment all within a mentoring framework.

Speakers and topics are selected based on the objectives of the program. Throughout the year (approximately every two months) participants attend group-training sessions. Training focuses on Business and Professional Education, Personal Development, and Technical Instruction. Opportunities for group social activities and community service participation is an important part of the program as well.
