Dunkelberger offers comprehensive geotechnical services ranging from site exploration/ characterization, including laboratory soils testing, to design recommendations for foundations, floor slabs, pavements, borrow, and ponds.
Our exploratory capability covers urban parcels for high-rise buildings, on water locations for bridges and subaqueous pipelines, existing and new alignments for roadways, and large agricultural tracts for residential development and infrastructure.
Dunkelberger's transportation experience ranges from planning studies to design criteria for interstate highways, bridges, rail transits, and local streets. The company is currently qualified by FDOT for the following work categories:

Our Dams and Water Resources capability is represented by engineers and geologists experienced in site investigations, detailed design (including seepage and stability modeling), development of detailed construction plans and specifications, and construction quality assurance/quality control for a variety of water supply reservoirs.
Furthermore, Dunkelberger’s professional engineers offer more than 150 years of combined experience in the subsoil, geologic, and hydrogeologic conditions of Florida. That experience is complemented by expertise in state-of-the-art software applications for foundation capacity, foundation settlement, slope/embankment stability, and groundwater flow/seepage.
