Mr. O’Connor, a co-founding partner in the firm, specializes in the practices of construction materials testing and building inspection services including Threshold Inspection (F.S. 553.791), Special Inspection (F.B.C. 109), and Private Provider Plan Review and Inspection (F.S. 553.791). Mr. O’Connor received his Bachelor Degree for Civil Engineering in 1985. Practicing locally for over 19 years, Mr. O’Connor serves as senior project engineer with direct technical responsibility for field inspection, construction materials testing and laboratory testing services. While at Dunkelberger, Mr. O’Connor successfully completed over 2,000
construction materials testing and inspection projects. In addition,
he is in responsible charge of all financial, marketing and technical
aspects of construction materials testing for the West Palm Beach area
and building inspection services for the entire firm.
Mr. Youngstrom specializes in the practice of geotechnical and construction materials engineering for studies pertaining to earthwork/demucking inspection, subsurface exploration, shallow foundation design, earth retaining wall design, construction materials testing and inspection, laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete and asphalt, and structural inspections. He is responsible for initiating and maintaining quality control programs that fulfill the requirements of the project specifications. Additionally, he oversees quality control construction services for a variety of projects including review of field reports, management of field and laboratory personnel and issuance of testing reports.
A geotechnical engineer with seven years of combined experience in design and construction phase services, Mr. Lopez is working as a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project manger for the West Palm Beach office. As project manager and geotechnical engineer at Dunkelberger, Mr. Lopez is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of FDOT projects. He also provides technical oversight and review of FDOT field and laboratory testing. Additionally, Mr. Lopez is responsible for assisting in the technical analysis and engineering evaluations for geotechnical engineering projects including shallow foundation design, earth retaining well design, settlement and slop stability analysis. He oversees quality control construction services for a variety of projects including review of field reports, management of field and laboratory personnel and issuance of testing reports.
